|
The F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter was designed by Lockheed Advanced Development Projects (Skunk Works) in Burbank, California, and was first flown in 1981. Lockheed-Martin delivered 59 stealth fighters to the Air Force between August 1982 and July 1990. The Stealth is about the size of an F-15 Eagle and is coated with a secret, radar-absorbent material. |
