Burmese pythons are one of the six largest types of snakes in the world. They can weigh up to two hundred pounds and can grow up to 20 feet long. Albino pythons such as the one in this picture are commonly sold as pets. This snake is an excellent swimmer and climber. It kills by constriction and eats a variety of animals, including monkeys, deer, pigs, rabbits, other snakes, birds, and fish. Scientific Classification:
