The Texas Governor's Mansion is located near the State Capitol in Austin. This building has been home to every Texas Governor since Elisha Pease, the fifth Governor of Texas, in 1856.

Built in the Greek Revival style, with bricks from Austin and pine log pillars from Bastrop county, the Texas Governor's Mansion has undergone several renovations over the years, the most recent while President George Bush lived there as Governor. The mansion is located at the corner of 11th Street and Colorado, Southwest from the Texas State Capitol.
