Energy Plaza (the center building in this picture, also known as the TXU building) is located in downtown Dallas, Texas; this 49-story skyscraper was built in 1983. The area next to the building is known as Thanks-Giving Square, and is dedicated to promoting the concept of giving thanks as a universal, human value. The area was designed by architect Philip Johnson and was completed in 1976.

The most prominent and recognizable feature of Thanks-Giving Square is the Chapel of Thanksgiving, the white spiral tower in the center of this photo, that features an enclave for prayerful thanks.

The building on the right side of this image is Republic Center Tower I.
