Sam Houston Statue

Statue of Sam Houston in Huntsville, Texas; designed by David Addickes. This 66 foot tall, 30-ton concrete monument was built to honor the former resident of Huntsville and namesake of Houston, Texas. It's visible for 6 miles, and is easily located just south of downtown Huntsville on Interstate 45.
